5 Reasons I Love the Valentin Imperial:

 It’s no secret that as a travel advisor who has spent lots of vacation time in the Riviera Maya area, the Valentin Imperial is one of my favorite properties as I think it fits tons of different people. You seriously can’t beat the amazing pools, the huge stretch of beach, and the amazinggg food choices for dinner (and lunch and breakfast!) The Valentin is a resort that I recommend to so many of my clients and I’m always finding great deals for it. So without further ado, below are some unique reasons that sets Valentin apart.

1. The Churro cart – Every night during the dinner hours (approx. 5pm – 11pm) they have a FRESH churro cart in the main square where many guests congregate before and after dinner. It is so fun to just stop by the cart, grab a churro, or 3, as a sweet treat. They can be stuffed with vanilla, chocolate or caramel cream which makes them even tastier.

2. The pool selections – The Valentin is KNOWN for having some of the best pools in this region. The reason I love them so much is not just for their massive size, but also for the vibe that each pool offers. There’s 2 main pools, with a 3rd ancillary pool that smaller and is truly the QUIET pool. The main pool is more of the party pool with activities and games, so if you’re wanting a more rowdy experience you can get it there. The golden pool is quieter, more laidback, and perfect for just floating around if that’s the experience you want that day. What’s great, is you can have both vibes in one trip. There is a foam party on Sunday's but don't fear, if you're not a partier, go to the Golden pool and you'll never even notice a thing!

3. Toes in the sand beach bar – This bar is simple, but so fun to be able to actual sit (or swing) with your toes in the sand. It’s perfect for cooling off in the shade or for getting great Instagram content as the swings are very aesthetic!

4. Food – Mainly dinner, the food here is excellent for being an All-Inclusive. You’re not going to get Michelin dining, but for the price and it being an AI resort that’s not an ULTRA luxury property, the food is way better than I can even ask for. You will not go hungry here. The French and Asian restaurants are my favorite, but I enjoyed all my meals.

5. The Prive upgrade – Prive is their “club level” add on. So basically you get things like lobster at every meal, premium liquors in the club lounge, and a free bali bed at the pool and/or beach. The free bali bed was worth it alone, as the resort was very full during our last stay and this ensured we had a prime seat in the shade for every day of our trip, no waking up at 5am to play the towel game for us! (The towel game can be an issue here, so if good seats are important to you I recommend Prive for this reason.) We also love having access to the lobster at every meal, as it’s such a treat that we’re not used to back at home. Same thing goes for the premium liquors, we’re on vacation and just like to treat ourselves to higher class drinks.

Overall, I LOVE THIS RESORT and the second you step foot here, it’s easy to see why! It’s perfect for my family and also for so many of my clients as it just checks all the boxes.
